Initially I was worried at how durable a lightning headphone jack would be. But after seeing that Apple pencil video being bent in all directions when plugged in, it's going to be quite durable.

That's not a demonstration of durability though. Durability is a measurement of how it fares under those conditions over time. God knows how many proprietary apple cables have crossed my desk that gave out where the head connects to the rest of the cable just under normal use conditions. If you can only bend it like that a dozen times before it gives up and you need to replace it, it's not very durable at all.

Get rid of it already, good riddance.
Only make it (the phone) thinner as long as it maintains its rigidity AND not sacrifice battery life! I case my phones so a thinner one just means when it's in its case it's going to be thin as a naked phone just a year or two ago...

Dealbreaker for me. I hate adaptor bulge in a pocket. It'll be the 1st thing to snap.

I predominately use Bluetooth headphones but if it's drizzling or snowing this is not an option.
