Man, that 60 GB 7200 rpm drive (rebadged Maxtor) for $50 looks really tempting (last page of the ad). I wonder if it's one of the fluid-bearing quiet drives..

is it me, or do i see a turtlebeach santa cruz and a logitech z540 (or 560, my eyes suck!) bundle for $80 after $80 rebate??

Actually, it looks like that deal is after instant savings - no rebate. Makes it even nicer. 😀

In addition to the $50 60GB drive the deal on flash media doesn't look too bad either. 128MB Memory Stick is about $70 shipped via Pricewatch. Add in a free 32MB and it seems to be an alright deal.

page 16, the last page. the deal looks hot. the pic is blurry but, it looks like an $80 dollar instant rebate.

yeah, the santa cruz / z540 bundle has what appears to be $60 instant savings, so that would mean there is a $20 MIR as well (looks like it got cut off the scan)

looks like I am returning the turtle beach that I bought from them last week for $50. I better get the bundle one. that's hot..

thanks

If you bought it from CompUSA, they charge a 15% restocking fee if opened. :disgust:

I'm guessing that the "bundle" will just be the two items in the normal retail packaging that just have to be bought at the same time. Is it that hard to just return the bundle sound card with last week's receipt? Double check the upc before buying to be sure of course.

It's got to be the Z540 - CUSA's regular price for both the Santa Cruz and the Z540's is $79.99, so buying both for $79.98 is an $80 savings as shown in the ad. compusa.com doesn't even show that they carry the Z560's, though street price on them is in the $130-$150 range elsewhere. Pretty safe to say it's not them. 😉

Got the Santa Cruz last week for $50 - not being in particular need of new speakers, I don't know that I'll pick these speakers up for the price difference ($30). If it's just the speakers you're after, buy.com has refurbs for $32.

Sorry about that, I am at work now, but when I get home I will try to clarify the deal...
