Don't the vast majorty of computers have AC97 sound? Pulling a number out of my butt, I'd guess AC97 outsells Creative 10 to 1.

AC97 and Azalia have certainly done some serious damage to creative in recent times.

The only thing keeping creative in the game is EAX, and the dramatic improvments to directsound in DX10 is another damaging blow to creative.
