What a great country we have here.. I went to Walmart today to buy some Nasal Decongestant for my 1 year old and wife. I have take "cards" up to the pharmacy for him to get them from behind the counter. Then he tells me I can't buy more then 1 at a time.. I guess I'm supposed to give my baby the same dose as my wife. So I buy just the one, after he enters all my info off my drivers license into his computer, I sign 2 different places THEN he tells me... Sorry, I can't sell you this because your DL has expired last night....

WTF has this country become....
 
Look on the bright side...if the Senate has its way illegal aliens will be able to keep all the social security they've built up using fraudulent social security numbers and IDs too!
 
That is a bitch and I feel for ya, but if they didn't have those restrictions in place and your child when older bought a bunch of that stuff & OD'd, then you'd be pissed that there weren't enough restrictions in place.

If not Sudafed they will use something else... Last week 2 people OD'd after huffing freon out of an AC Unit.. You can't stop stupidity...
 
buy the pseudoephedrine free stuff, no need to sign anything. The other stuff might not be as good but it'll help.

Yea, but nanny laws are getting in the way of that, making life harder for the rest of us.

I was ID'ed coming out of Michaels (a hobby store) for buying those little testors paint jars because they didn't want kids sniffing them. Of course, I also had a model kit, modeling plaster, paint brushes and a bunch of other stuff. The cashier laughed and didn't bother readin the DL, but still, the fact that the law is in the place at all is rediculous. What would have happened 4 years ago when I was under 18 and wanted to paint my plane or something? I had to go pay a bum or bug my parents.

I still remember when they first started that crap with model airplane glue. One day I went to the drug store when I was 11ish to get some glue and they wanted a note from my mother/father. When I asked why I was told because people sniff it. Prior to that it had never occured to me to take a tube of glue, stick it in a paper bag, and sniff it. :roll:

The restrictions are in place to deter people from making meth, not to prevent kids from taking a bunch of psudoephedrine. If his child wants to do stupid drugs he's got a whole long list to choose from besides Sudafed. 🙂

I was going to burn up my passport and ss card, go south of the border and come back illegally. That way I can save over $120 month in car insurance. Plus if I am ever arrested for a crime, I just simply don't show for my hearing.

wouldn't you be able to save that 120 and court attendance without going south and back over after you have gotting rid of all forms of identification?
