I had a 360 premium on pre-order at EB since back in May. I was #20 out of 23. I even checked back 2 weeks ago and I was still #20(first shipment)...well I got fvcked...they gave mine away. They said the reason was this: when someone pre-orders something but then takes some money off their pre-order to buy something(like a game) it takes them off the pre-order list(even if they still had $50 down on a 360). Then EB "makes a note" of it on their account so they'll still get whatever they pre-ordered.(without telling everyone on the list they just got bumped down). Sorry but I'm not buying any of this bullsh!t they're telling me. I'm expecting a phone call from the District manager today. I won't get a system but maybe they'll make things right. I will never buy anything, let alone pre-order anything from EB again!

 
so you put some money down for the pre-order, then you used that as a credit to buy something? is that it?

I would get my money back. Especially because what I've heard about the xbox 360 is that its a buggy piece of crap. So you will just end up having to send it in for a new one anyways.
 
Why didn't you just leave your pre-order alone? Are you complaining because you fscked up and can't be the first kid on your block to get an overpriced buggy console that will be better/cheaper in 6 months? 😵

Nope someone else messed with their pre-order...not me. Just wanted to sell it on ebay.

 
Pre-order means nothing. I frequently walk into EBGames on launch day and pick system/game w/o pre-order. I tell 'em, so you want my fricking $ now, or you wanna wait for some guy who only gave you a portion of the payment and may or may not come in at all? Money now, or wait? You decide. And I get the goods. No need to bribe.
 
why why why, did you touch your pre order money. I think they are right on this one, cause if you had to put a min of 100 or whatever dollars down to preorder the Xbox and you fell under that mark then you just gave your slot away

sorry I'm just confusing everyone...I didn't touch my preorder...someone else messed with theirs which took them off the list in the computer but somehow they still got their spot back in the list. Sounds like crap if you ask me
