Well when Kidd runs the break, having Jefferson on your left wing and having Carter on your right wing is gonna be an awesome sight.

But they will get raped inside.
 
LOL the Nets got robbed. Vince Carter is a hyped up crybaby that can not play D. Horrific trade, 2 FIRST ROUND PICKS?? They will probably both wind up being top 10 picks, Toronto made out like bandits. Mark my words.

Toronto should have just gotten some draft picks instead of a washed up mourning, the mediocre Williams.
The nets aren't even a contender.
An injured kidd, a lazy ass carter, and a loser jefferson.

it's basically 2 1st round draft pics for carter. NJ Nets will not be a lottery team. not in the east.

Aaron williams was a decen role player but Franks wasn't playing him.
Eric Williams is nothing.
Mourning is a salary drain.


Since Kidd has started playing 20 mpg the nets have a winning record. with kidd nets are 3-2 vs 4-12 without kidd.

I kind of agree with you, but still there are no real power players in Toronto now. 3 top 15 picks are awesome, but i doubt anything the likes of LeBron or Carmelo are gonna be in this year's draft.
 
Hahaha... I'd have to say Toronto got the better end of the short stick here. Carter's been complaining how he hates TO, that's not going to drive him.

i think people quickly forget how talented Vince is. I almost liken Vince to Rasheed Wallace. All the talent in the world, but they don't want to be the leader or the main guy. i don't think Vince is a team cancer, i just don't think he has the balls to be the man.

with the East as sorry as it is, they'll get to the playoffs with Vince-RJ-Kidd. however, the Net's lack of bigs makes them a first round playoff exit, imo. their bigs are: Jason Collins, Scalabrine, and guys i've never heard of.

i think people quickly forget how talented Vince is. I almost liken Vince to Rasheed Wallace. All the talent in the world, but they don't want to be the leader or the main guy. i don't think Vince is a team cancer, i just don't think he has the balls to be the man.

the Net's future depends on Kidd's production after his surgery. with the East as sorry as it is, they'll get to the playoffs with Vince-RJ-Kidd. however, the Net's lack of bigs makes them a first round playoff exit, imo. their bigs are: Jason Collins, Scalabrine, and guys i've never heard of.

have you noticed how much better the nets are with kidd tho? since he's come back even only playing 20 mpg, they have been contenders.

but you are right, they do need a big. again. ratner has the money, it will be interesting to see what rod thorn can swing.

no doubt Kidd makes them better. i've got my doubts about Kidd's durability, though.

also the Net's lack of depth is really going to hurt them in the playoffs. but, like you said, who knows what trades might happen next.
 
it'll be interesting. I hope Vince and Nets will do well. But I want my Knicks to be in the playoffs.... 🙁 you just know that no other Atlantic division teams can make it except for the division winner as 3rd seed (with probably less wins than the 8th seed)
 
by the way im surprised Toronto didn't throw in Jalen Rose for another Nets player... Rose sucked since he got dealt up North of the border

He played well in the first year that he was in Chicago, but sucked since then. You guys were suckers to take a player who was fading as rapidly as he was.
