Nissan Sentra or Toyota Corolla ?

considered a used car? I picked up my '99 passat about a year and a half ago with 42000 miles on it. Full options package (except manual trans by my own choice). 32 mpg with my (extremely) aggressive driving on average, and it's really sturdy too. I had a minor issue with the brakes (the dealer messed up the retention springs), but other than that, just routine maintenance. Base price: $13000

Seriously consider a used car if you can find a good one.

either one is good...i tend to trust Toyota a bit more, but the Sentra is very nice as well...my friend likes his Corolla and he has quite a few miles on it🙂

Jetta TDI- Do you want to get 750 miles on a single tank of diesel? I drove my parents Mercedes E300 Turbo Diesel, and my dad drove 150 miles on a quarter tank. Considering diesel is cheap than regular gas, and that a mid size luxury car can get 33mpg, you should check this out. Also the torquey engine is a plus.
