Ya know, when I saw your username earlier I was going to ask if you still had your NSX.

I had an NSX in my past life. It was like driving a slot car. I'll get my GT-R eventually but I am going to wait a few years for the price gouging to die down. Currently our garage has a 3.5 VQ and a 5.6 VK.

That's surprising! We've had two I30s in my family (I had a 97, my mom a 96) and they were totally rock solid... The VQ series is considered one of the most reliable makes on the road. You must have got a lemon or purchased it from someone who neglected basic maintenance.

Yeah I've got 145K miles on my VQ in my 97 Maxima - the I30 is just a Maxima rebadged with slightly different styling and different interior.

The V6 does very well for mileage. The last time I filled up I got 26MPG with a mix of city/highway driving.

My 2003 Max gets about 23.5 mpg mostly freeway driving. That is the best I've managed with it driving a constant 70mph. Typical city driving nets me 18-19mpg.
