Nissan Cube

Saw it in Heroes last night and this car's a riot. But I am kinda disappointed that they soften the cube up in this gen, I loved the boxy JDM version!

I've seen one of these up close and it's much more rounded than the original xB.

Would I own one? No.

Do I think it will do well with the young hs/maybe college crowd? Definitely.

The new Car & Driver gave it a so-so review. They ranked the 'box' cars as follows:
Best: Element
Scion
Cube
Worst: Soul (Sounds bad, but they didn't print a full review in this issue.)

I've seen advertisements all over the web with the cube in it. At first I thought it was some ugly eye catching prototype that would never make it into production. Sadly, I later on discovered that this is an actual production vehicle. The poor sheet metal...

It looks like an (original) xB that got too close to the flame and started to melt.

:vomit;

And I *really* like hatches/wagons.

Buy a one year old real car instead. I don't see the point of these little coffins. Anybody see the new Toyota iQ? Might as well just shoot yourself and save your family the hassle of getting that late night call that somebody on a vespa ran a read light and you died on impact.

I like the look of the Kia Soul's for some reason. Maybe I'm just weird but I like the look of the cube styled SUV's.

the more I look at it, the more it grows on me... wish there were some detailed pics of the US interior out there, though.

as ugly as that side window looks, I bet it's great for parallel parking and changing lanes.

probably not something I'd buy, though... whenever I'm ready for my next car, I'm going to give serious thought to a truck or SUV -- it sucks so much not to be able to transport anything large in my car and I don't have any friends with suvs/minivans/etc.

I saw a Soul today for the first time in person. I think it's the nicest looking of the boxcars.

I thought the xB was practical but quirky. The Cube looks more quirky than practical.
