Nissan Altima 2Dr Coupe

So I went to this research study today morning - they had a prototype Nissan Altima 2Dr Coupe. It looked pretty nice - with like a regular altima face, but a g35 type of an @ss. Offered with the same 3.5 VQ that is in all the other nissans.

What do you folks think - would this be a yay or a nay for nissan?

I think its a yay.....they have no coupe in their non-Infiniti line other than the 350Z. This would be a great asset for Nissan.

Nissan Altimas are great cars(before the 2005 redesign), in fact i'm shopping around for a newer one(Pre-05).
It's time to upgrade/replace my aging 95.

I didnt find any. Imagine the front 40% of an altima, the mid 40% of a g35 coupe, and the last rear 20% from the concept skyline GTR.

I suspect that the coupe they showed you was based on the 4th gen (2007) Altima? Should be a pretty good looking car.

Too bad it's not a hatchback--would be much more utilitarian, like the Mazda6 HB.
