At this point, who cares? I've listened to the album 8 billion times...having it on DVD isn't going to change my life 13 years later.

I have the video on my computer which I could burn to VCD but it's not very good quality. We also have it on VHS at my house but it's so old that it doesn't play anymore.

For only $12 I'll probably pick it up, for the picture quality, 5.1 sound, and the couple extra goodies that come with it. Awesome concert.

What about HD DVD and Blu Ray?

From what I've read, MTV had been experimenting with HD broadcasts in their unplugged shows back in the 90s, but I don't believe this was one of them.

interesting side note, I've played the exact acoustic that Kurt uses in some of the songs from that concert.

can't say I really care about this DVD though

Agreed. This is probably my all-time favorite live album, and one of my top 50 albums, period. Definitely a brilliant performance of a great set list.

So true.

Nirvana is so decade+ ago. I actually cannot stand a single fvcking song by them anymore, i actively avoid listening to them for anything in any way. I think maybe they were just overplayed, especially after the guy offed himself and went from a popular band to OMFG IT'S NIRVANA.

What about HD DVD and Blu Ray?

The 12 people who own one of those isn't a big market.

Interesting, within a couple years I ran into a number of people who said they wouldn't listen to it anymore because he killed himself.
