slunk - I couldn't agree more. Todays mainstream is absolutely horrible!

I listen to stuff like pavement, sonic youth, built to spill, fugazi, my bloody valentine, slint, sweep the leg johnny....very alternative stuff. I agree that Nirvana wrote fantastic songs but I think the bands I listed have more to them in terms of dynamics

I like 'Smells like Teen Spirit' most, although the Tori Amos Cover is terrible
