alright don't flame as i have read some reviews and the nirvana with the stock fan beats the TRUE by a very small margin. What do you guys think would be better for my E8400 @ 3.7ghz? it currently idles at around 43-46*C. or if there is any other cooler out there that you think i will benefit from then please post. looking to drop my temps down to below 40 at least.

Thanks

TRUE.

Choice of nice quiet fan ftw.

And idle temps of 40 vs. 46C means nothing at all btw.

Load is what you should be worried about.

What cooler do you have currently?

BTW, load of 56C is good.
I'd worry about keeping it under 70C, so you've got lots of room.

im using a cooler master hyper tx2 right now with ym room window open to keep things from getting over like 90*F in my room when my fans are all on high and im runing prime95. i ran prime for about 2 hours with my 1.12v on ym vcore while my cpu was at 3.7ghz but it fialed at 2hrs and 46mins. going to bring the voltage up to about 1.13v and see what happens after i get home from school.

I don't think a TRUE is going to help that much really, at least not on the reported temps. Something is off on the temps on the E8400. i'm running a tuniq tower 120 and my temps at 4050Mhz are 45C Idle, 67C load. Lapping and upping my fan speed had no effect. Lots of others are having similar issues.
