Hi all,

This is my second attempt at website design, so be kind. The main site's at nirmanweb.

The forums are installed from a phpBB package, and modified very little other than look, colours, etc.

Let me know what you all think...esp. in terms of design, layout, and colour scheme, since i'm not very experienced at this kind of work.

It looks pretty good. Remember to put a page title. Also, I think a graphical border around the big green table would look good. Something that matches your theme.

Not too bad; the colour scheme and layout are sensible if a little off-beat. The pages are not very space efficient however, and since there is not a ton of content it seems more optimization is in order; I strongly suggest you do experimentation w/ alternate layouts and schemes while the site is still small enough to be easily manipulated.
Another suggestion: from what I know, it might be smart to at some point make a dual site with page layouts optimized for either high or low resolution screens(If you want to go overboard) since then the site will look good on either a 1600x1200 monitor or a 800x600.
Just an idea I wish I saw more webmasters do; of course I'm sure you have more important things to do(like teach kids, maybe?) than optimize a website frivolously for techno-geeks like me.
