Nintendo Wii's at Toys R Us Today, GO GO GO!

Phokus

Lifer
I was able to score one even though i slept 2 hours after the store opened... my store got 50 of them yesterday. This is nation wide too (although if you live in a metro region, they're probably sold out by now).

I?ve had mine since Christmas, and not long afterwards I stopped playing it.

Trust me, you?ll soon get bored of it.

Still not bored of mine!

*goes back to playing SPM*

Huh, I didn't realise Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for the Wii had already been released.

I might have to buy it. I love the Tiger woods series.

rent first. tiger for wii is sketchy. poor graphics, controls are clumsy, and the gameplay just feels slow

Ahh, in that case I think I will rent it first.

Thanks for the advice. 🙂

I don't understand this Wii craze. My friends and I lost interest in the Wii after a few weeks, our Wiis are all gone now.

Still playing the Wii I got at launch. SPM and Tiger Woods are great! TW doesnt have the greatest graphics but unless you're an uncoordinated goof, the controls are great.

How much you want for it?

If I did sell it, I would only sell it for cost, since its mint. I still want to keep it around for the upcoming games like Metroid and Smash Bros. though.

But if someone did want to buy it for cost, I would probably do so, just to help them out, and because I can pick one up around here without any trouble when I need one.

Are the controls like the golf in Wii sports? I really like that game.

Still going strong w/ my Wii. The thing is to use it as a distraction when friends are over. Alone it gets pretty boring, but w/ people around it is a good time.

They're similar but not the same. There's more finesse involved with TW 2007, which is why I think it gets poor reviews because the ADHD kids at the review sites cant figure out how to beat it in 30 minutes.

Once you get the hang of it, you can place virtually any shot you want, anywhere you want.

Still enjoy my Wii after months of playing. I don't play every day like some people though, which probably helps. I beat Zelda (loved it) and am working on Paper Mario now, and my friends and I still play a lot of Wii Sports (bowling and golf are a ton of fun).

TRU Everett, WA has at least 30 left at 11am. The Lynnwood, WA one is out. They were the ones who sent me to Everett and they said they had 35 at that time (10:45am).

My problem is is that its fun, but then it gets boring VERY fast.

You find yourself missing great graphics.

How can you call a system boring? What is it about the system that makes it boring? 😕 Isn't it the games that make a system fun or boring? Funny how the PS3 fanboys go on and on about all the great games that will be coming out for the PS3, but because the Wii doesn't have a great game selection yet it's boring.

The Wii is not "boring," and with its tremendous sales the game selection will only get better.

Of course when I saw a system is boring, I mean the games are boring...

Only two games actually worth Playing on the Wii

Twilight Princess
Paper Mario

PS3 has awesome games out already

They may not be exclusive, but its better than playing two games over and over. Unless you count Mini-games.

You clearly have not played many Wii games.
