I'm not worried. There will be many more. But it would've been so much simpler if that bi@tch didn't cut me in line at costco. I'm still a little peeved about that. I guess I could've said something, but didn't feel like fighting over something that will be readily available in the near future. Also, that definitely would've made the 8 o'clock news if I did.

Yeah tho, people act crazy when this stuff comes out. It's just a video game system, not worth your human dignity to get dirty about it.

On the other hand, I cringe every time I envision her face. A part of me just wants to punch something. hehe.
 
She was probably getting it for her snot-nosed kid. Probably won't even know what to do with it . That or he'll pick it up and hit her in the face and tell her "I wanted a $700 Playstation Biyatch!!"

I don't think so. I arrived at Costco at roughly 9:30am, opening was 10am. There was a crowd waiting with numbers issued 1-24 with a couple of extras. I walk up stand near and a couple of minutes later she walks up and proceeds to ask what's going on. She had no idea that the Wii was launching that morning. Then she started rambling about the PS3 profits and how much she had to pay for a Cabbage Patch Doll many years ago... i already wanted to slap her. I figured that I was too far behind and wouldn't even have a shot. I could've said something but again, didn't feel like arguing over a game console that I could get later on with no issues.
 
It's in now. I would buy it and resell but they're only going for $300 on ebay now annd it's not worth getting stuch with the 8 games.
 
You are not going to make a profit selling these things on Ebay now.

They are in stock at Costco in San Antonio. Not sure if it is a bundle but my sister's boyfriend works there and told her a few hours ago that they had them in stock.
 
I keep getting a message it's out of stock. It says in stock on the product page, but if you look for it by searching for Wii it shows OOS.... blah
 
For some reason I can't seem to get it to checkout... it always says its not available for me, even when it becomes available and I'm able to add to cart... anyone else have this problem?
 
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..... I just picked mine up at Toys R Us in Times Square NYC. They had about a 30 minute wait in line. They received a shipment in the thousands this morning. Extra remotes are sold out though.
 
nice... wish I lived in a major metro like that. Unfortunately I have to find something online or wait for BB/CC to get them in stock. EB= a joke.

Me too....you get a different error if you select 9 games. They must be OOS and it's not registering correctly... Either that or they have a page error somewhere. Either way, they'll be plenty of chances to get a Wii in the next few weeks. The PS3s are in much higher demand with less supply right now....

I just hope the Wii has some decent games. From what I've seen, they have a lot of japanese-style graphics, which I'm not a big fan of, but the gameplay itself looks promising.
 
I know I'll get flamed but after seeing the Wii and PS3 side by side I don't want a Wii. There is something to be said about the cool new controller for the Wii, but in an age of HiDef TV's it;s kind of rediculous to release something that can't do at least 720p. The graphics looked terrible on teh Wii and fantastic on the PS3. I don't plan on buying any new consoles because the Wii would look no better than the Gamecube on my 42" LCD and the PS3 is so rediculously priced.

Oh well, I should get away from the TV anyway.

Still amazes me that people think the Wii looks no better then a Gamecube. True the Wii can't take advantage of higher definition signals that your 42" LCD might accept. But there's much more to the visuals then just the format that the game is outputting.
