I think that if you go to the store you can get the system itself. I might go tonight, but I don't think it's necessary for the midnight launch.

Is Zelda going to be out at launch also? I may just have to go to walmart at midnight and pick one of those suckers up... the new zelda looks great 🙂
 
Bah, too many of their titles are designed for little kids. The only reason I'd even purchas a Wii is for Zelda.

Zelda is certainly a reason to buy the Wii ... but come now ... don't fall back into that trap. Wii is designed for a MUCH wider audience then just little kids.

Yeah...the whole "Nintendo is for kids" argument is pretty weak. Nintendo goes for quality instead of quantity, and for some reason they think that if a game doesn't have blood, guts, and sex, it's for kids.

i like that fact that nintendo didnt just focus on one thing this time, the HDTV 1080, like fritzo said, they go for quality not quantity. There is a reason why nintendo is still around and it is not because of the "kids"...

Exactly. Just how movies with blood, guts, and sex are for adults. It's actually immature and narrow. I know plenty of adults that watched The Pokemon Movie by themselves and without taking any children.
 
just as voodoo said, nintendo considers everyone, not targeting and marketing just teens and adults.

I agree about the manufactured shortage. All the stores are OOS, but if you check E-bay there are over 20,000 Wii's for sale. I wonder when the next shipment will come in?

 
refund....according to thier retrun policy. but the only games that are instock are the first 8

i will hold out for another cc bundle or to pick one up att cc for 210
 
tax and shipping on this are $85... assuming you return all the games that's still $35 extra you're paying for shipping.

OOS again... wondering if i shoulda jumped.... oh Wiil
 
I'm not even interested in buying. The games don't interest me that much. I really only want Zelda, which is not available in this bundle now.

I'm not worried. There will be many more. But it would've been so much simpler if that bi@tch didn't cut me in line at costco. I'm still a little peeved about that. I guess I could've said something, but didn't feel like fighting over something that will be readily available in the near future. Also, that definitely would've made the 8 o'clock news if I did.
