Local Sears has ALL Nintendo, PS1 and Dreamcast games and systems for 1/2 off. This does NOT include PS2.My son said the Dreamcast bundle for $60 was a deal. I got the impression that Sears(at least the local one) is getting out of the video game/system business. Might try your local Sears or call the one I went to(785) 830-2003.

If this is true then this is an extremely hot deal! Gonna see if I can pick up a couple PS1 titles (FFIX, THPS2, SYOTD).

Virtuamike--this deal is real.My son bought crazy taxi 2 for dreamcast for 19.95(he said this game has only just recently come out). Also, I noticed that all off the older clearance games were 1/2 off the clearance price --so some were as low as $4.99.

Can you get Best Buy to PM this deal? If so, you could get some pretty fantastic prices there.

Thanks,

Forget BB PM, get Walmart to do the PM and get the extra 10%. I was going to make a Footlocker run today, I'll make sure to stop by Sears too

This is only for selected Sears stores who are discontinuing videogame sales, per a sales manager I spoke with this AM.

Yeah but what sucks is that the Walmart here says they dont do the 10% extra but if I buy it first at BB and then go to the counter with the deal they would have to give me the 10% but I am wondering if they would PM the 50%. First I gotta call my Sears and see if they are doing it too.

Ollie--all my son got was the game. They had numerous systems available last night. All I can say is call the number in the original post and ask to speak with Matt, Bryan or Rusty(he's the manager).

This is for the B & C class stores only, not the A's from I've heard. What defines a B&C from and A I have no idea. To bad there isn't a Sears nearby, I'd be all over this.

'A' stores are your larger (full-line) stores. 'B' is mid-size (may not have a furniture dept, for example), and 'C' (if I remember correctly) is specialty - Paint&Hardware, Furniture, etc.

I used to work at sears too:

if the abc thing is correct (it sounds right, i dont remember 100%)then

a: A-store sears will ALWAYS PM their hardware stores, grab a manager, if not, grag the store manager. sears usually is set on satisfacation.
b: c=specialty, then why would they have video games at paint and hardware/homelife/auto stores? i think those are 3 types of specialty stores.
c: there is no c.

So wait...how do I know if my Sears store is having this sale? Just call them and convince them to ring something up for me? I wanna go there, but Sears is about 20 miles away, don't wanna waste the gas if there's no sale.

A Dreamcast with a game for $60 is a great deal. It's more gaming power than I need plus Dreamcast games are cheap and plentiful, or free if you're one of those video-game burning fiends who knows all about illegal file converting and such (just tryin' to suck up to the M0Ds, ;))

Just called the old time Sears in Downtown Los Angeles and the said it rang up as 99.99. damn I want to get one of these bad boys too, just waiting for these to come down in price and hope by that time I can pick one up cause Sega's out of the hardware biz and these consoles will be dead.

I've called a lot of Southern California Sears stores... no luck. sheesh. I called one and asked if they knew o fany B or C stores. Then I called those. Then I repeated the process. Then I gave up after calling about 13 Sears stores with no luck. All I wanted was a pair of Dreamcast controllers for $15 is that so much? :(
