Hello all!

I have a stupid question I hope someone can answer for me. I have seen the Nintendo Player's Choice titles around and wondered if the manual and discs have the words Player's Choice on them. I know the cover insert has the ugly yellow stripe on the front. Does the manual have this or is the game the exact same as the original version except for the cover insert? Thanks to all!

HUH! Sounds shady?!? ::scratches head:: I happen to not like the Yellow Stripe across the top and I wanted to know if it flowed through to the inside too. I always try to find the originals of games. I hate the greatest hits series on every system. Especially the old PS1 neon green. ::shudders::

EDIT: You know. Just once I would like to ask a question without having thread crappers come in and analyze or insult something I do or ask.

Welcome to ATOT.

We are just curious. We don't mean to badger, but we just want to know what it is that is worth writing a thread about. ;)

BTW, no, the appearance of the manual and discs are usually the same as the original, however in many instances the game has bugfixes and the manual has been fixed for any errors or clarification, along with updates for publishing dates. So really the only way a person could tell the difference is if they knew of a certain bug that only worked on the original version or compared the text of the manual to the original.

Hey, I understand. But when people start calling me shady for a simple question I tend to get a little irritated. Sheesh.

Like I said in the beginning, it was a stupid question, but I tend to be picky about things like this. Especially when you have a big bright yellow stripe that sticks out like a sore thumb on a beautiful (and dark) cover like Resident Evil. I can't stand the cover on my Castlevania Symphony of the Night on PS1. The big bright green stripe totally destroys the beautiful picture on the front, but I bought since it was WAY cheaper than buying the original.

Thanks for letting me know about the player's choice game. I never thought about bug fixes. Getting the player's choice version may not be such a bad idea after all.

Sorry I offended you... I couldn't imagine any reason it would matter if the disc and manual looked like the originals unless you were trying to pass them off as the originals... I have no idea why someone would do that, but then again I wouldn't expect The Legend of Zelda to sell for $400 on eBay either... Add to that the fact that you didn't respond to nycxandy when he asked why it matters, and yeah it sounded suspicious.
