They are coming back because they dont suck like the majority of the crap released today. The games back then were made to be fun and not to just "look" cool

Havn't you noticed the resurgence in "classic" game sales? There have been classic game packs for every console including handhelds. Quite a few of them are also ported to Palm and Pocket PC. Every store that sells electronics is flooded with retro controllers with built-in games.
There is still a market for that stuff, so Nintendo, or anyone else, are not likely to release them into public domain any time soon.
