Nintendo DS Shell replacing

Anybody here do it before, if so what are your experiences? My 6 year olds probably needs a new outer shell as his right button is stuck and I noticed the hinge on that side looks bent/broken.
 
yeah, I been looking online. looked at that extreme something website that sells the casings, and read thru the reviews and they were alittle mixed. Main thing I'm concerned with is fit and durability. From what I could tell from reading the reviews were the plastic on the aftermarket casings were thinner and that alittle modifications were necessary in order for it to work. Anybody have done this here?
