Probably more than $99 to start.. maybe $149? I don't see myself buying a handheld for more than $99.

It will proabably be at least twice as cheap as PSP, plus it has wifi, touch screen, more powerful than N64, and supports up to 16 (i think) players wireless in an area. I'll probably wait a while before buying just to see how it works out.

I'm guessing $149 or $169.

Fry's B&M will probably have it for $149 with free game or $129 initially.

Expect the US list to be much shorter. The DS will come out in Japan sooner than North America (of course), and expect a price nearing $200-$250 (I've even heard $300). With dual LCDs and wi-fi built in....the production cost will be high.

I love Nintendo, but I'm not loyal to any brand. I just go where the goods are, and this time Sony with its PSP has me already.

No way it will be near $300... they arent that stupid. No one would buy it.

north american pricing will not break $149. that's my guess. Anything above that would be suicide.

which would mean the north american pricing is $149.99... following the pricing of european console launch prices compared to american ones.

eh? not loyal to any brand, so I'm guessing the initial Sony Software lineup won you over? Nintendo already made several announcements regarding staying below the $200 pricepoint.

Good to see the support of Square in there- some good RPG's heading in our way
