I'm really liking it, but I don't know if I would bother to replace my red DS with it... unless I can get a good amount of money for mine and the Lite isn't too expensive.

Brightness Comparison

This says alot. I may consider changing over when it's released... It will be just a tad more expensive... ~$140 vs. $129.99 for the current DS.

Playing my DS in anything near the sunlight yeilds horrible visibility. Lets hope that brighter screen helps with that problem.

No, they're just using one screen for games now. Nintendo figures they'll have a SDK out that supports the second screen by 2007.
