Nintendo DS Games (looking for quirky and fun)

I bought a DS last week and got Big Brain Academy, Castlevania POR and Advanced Wars Dual Strike. We (My wife and 6 year old daughter) have had a blast with the BBA but I have yet to open the other two as I am saving them for a trip I am about to take. However, I have been digging around for some games that are FUN but not necessarily mainstream. Games maybe everyone doesn't know about or that don't get a lot of press. Like Feel the Magic. I am surpised when I come across a game like this with seemingly good reviews and yet I have never heard of it.

So what other games out there am I missing? Any GBA games that I absolutely must not miss?

My fiancee and I are having a blast with Mario Kart DS. I know it's a little mainstream, but we can play each other via wireless while we only have one game cartridge (we both have DS's). Very fun!

The Mario & Luigi RPG is tons of fun.. not too hard/easy, not too childish, and the game play and battle system just simply makes it a great game to play.

I believe Feel The Magic was a launch title, which is probably why you haven't heard of it if you're getting into the DS at this point. I believe it even had a sequel in Japan, though I am not positive.

Cooking Mama is actually supposed to be a lot of fun.

Wario Ware Touched hasn't been recommended, you should make that your next purchase just looking at your thread title.

These are perfect...taken from this thread for later purchases:

Kirby: Canvas Curse
WarioWare
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (which lead to Trace Memory)
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

Elite Beat Agents is the best game on the DS hands down.

Trauma Centre and Pheonix Wright are also great games that have developped a cult following of their own.

I haven't really tried to get into the music "beat" games for fear I would not "get" them. Is this along the lines of Guitar Hero?

I scored a white one at CC today.
Called around and the lady saud she had 1 left.
Asked if she can hold it for me and she said shes not supposed to but....

I was able to use the $40 off $199 too.(I bought something else with it).
At first shes like you can't use that , then she in the back room to ask.
Came back and punch it the code and whoalaa..
Pro-rate and it was $106 + tax for me 🙂

I have this one FS. Fun RPG that you can play for a few minutes at a time. Probably takes 10-15 hours to complete.
