Does the touch screen accumulate scratches over time? If so, are there any peel-off protectors you can get for it, or would such an item not work due to the nature of the screen?

I'm a big fan of InvisibleSHIELD from Shieldzone. A little pricey but it works great:

Scroll down for the DS Lite. A full body shield is like $25. You will never have any scratches with that stuff.
I think you need to look closer at those screens in the proper lighting. I'm normally extremely careful with my belongins, and in my experience it is an extremely delicate screen. I've been playing Mario Kart, which doesn't even use the touch screen, and somehow light scratches are showing up on the lower screen. I can only see them from the right angle in full sunlight, but they are there.Originally posted by: LanceM
I have a Lite, which sees regular use by myself, my wife, and even my mother when I visit. It has zero scratches. A dozen people at work bring their Lites regularly. Zero scratches.

Looks like Nintendo even makes some, I just found THIS at the Toys 'R' Us website. I will see if I can track down any of the Hori ones though, thanks.![]()
