Nintendo Canada is trying to scam me...

Principal... They stole my money, told me i was wrong, covered their tracks. And $0.94 is not the point. Did you even read HOW they did all this? I have proof, and I caught them.

No I didn't read HOW they did it, I'm not going to waste any more time than I already did reading about how Nintendo stole $.94 from you! And I'm sure the amount of time Nintendo employees had to deal with your nagging cost them a hell of a lot more than $.94. So consider it a victory on principle.

why post if you can't be bothered to read?

Dude..

If you feel you that the taxes you were charged are incorrect, we want to help resolve the situation. In this case, it would helpful to speak with you directly. At your earliest convenience, please contact Nintendo's Consumer Service Department by calling 1-800-255-3700. Representatives are available to speak to you between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time, seven days a week.

Just call them.. WTF?

Read the thread, I did call, they didn't answer during their normal business hours. Screw them, they can deal by email now.

So basically, they're in a huge conspiracy to rip you of $0.94? Please. Also, they in no way lied. They said that their website was current with the charges, which at the time of them sending the email was in fact current. And because their website was correct when the emailed you, you ARE wrong.

I emailed them about the error on the site, they changed it, emailed me back stating nothing was wrong. I should've SS'd the page before, but who would've thought a large company is not complying with Government mandated tax cuts. They are ripping off more than one person Xanis, I am definately not the only one between July 1st-Now that had a repair done. Chances are they will not reimburse anyone unless someone rats them out.

It doesn't say that anywhere in your original post. You should probably update it to say that.

The truth is this.. They will more than likely give you your .94. You are blowing this entire thing out of proportion. Mistakes happen.

There's principle (not principal) , and then there is being a nit. You are being a nit.

Wouldnt a new DS cost less than that? Or at least a used one on ebay?

was my gf's that I stepped on. TBH I CBA to bother with fleabay for a new DS, and in Canada they retail for $149.99 + 14-15% tax. So I saved a bit of cash.

Dude.. Did you read what I typed? I found it later in the post.

You have obviously updated your original post regarding the issue. Why would you exclude that and then give people crap when they don't scroll through the thread to find the information.

I'm sorry that I assumed that you updated the original post with comprehensive information.

And I love being told that I need to enhance my reading comprehension by someone who is standing up for their "principals".

It's topped only by dedicating your time complaing about less than one dollar on multiple forums.

And I am not one to give people crap about their spelling, but you sure opened yourself up to that type of retort when you ripped on someone's ability to comprehend what you are typing.

jm20, don't listen to all those haters, it may only be $0.94, but its 94 cents that was supposed to be cut with our tax break.

I in no way find you to be going about this the wrong way.
