Nintendo 64 question

I just got my Nintendo 64 today (I've never had one), and I'm so excited! I need to buy an expansion pack (that 4MB dealie) for some of the games I've bought.

Is there a difference between the Nintendo brand expansion packs and off brand ones? If not, I guess I'll just get an off-brand one. The Nintendo ones cost like $30!
