Now robots vs zombies... that's a battle to behold.

Elaborate on that. Because first reaction would be, robots would destroy zombies.

Ahh, but you see (assuming the robots are not self replicating, of course), robots would have to face wave after wave of zombie hordes only limited by the number of human beings.

But... zombies eat braaaaaaains.

I would think one robot could take on the entire population of earth, coverted to zombies. What can they do to a robot, really?

I don't think a zombie could be motivated to get into combat with a robot. Robots are completely artificial, and don't meet the nutritional needs of zombies.

After seeing pirates of the Caribbean, I'm sure pirates win.
As a matter of fact, the first two movies just arrived on blu ray, courtesy of Netflix.
I shall make a detailed analysis of Pirate excellence and inform you tonight of my findings.

The pirate wouldn't even see the ninja coming

However, it is entirely possible that the ninja would pass out/die from the wretched stench a pirate exudes.

I would assume a ninja would learn to hold his breath.

yes, but how long can they be expected to hold their breath? pirate stench is eternal.
