Yes, but I missed a box or two. Specifically a Life of Gods (sp?). Since I had just played chapters 2 and 3 and gotten to 4, it only took me another half an hour to reply them and then get my life bonus sooner.

Damn, I wanna play now but I'm at work.

Yeah, I find it, frankly, too hard. That fact, combined with the limited saves, makes the game kinda un-fun to me. My copy is already up on eBay.

Tremendous games thus far, up to chapter 5 and while it is more difficult then other games, i havent experienced the "rip your hair and throw the controllers" hard yet.

Already on Chapter 14. Gamers these days are too weak. It used to be if you're a gamer, you'd get through it. Now, everyone plays it and complains too damn much.

I'm sorry master gamer, but I think the game is hard. I play many games, and have been playing games since the Atari came out. This game is one of the hardest I have played in a long time. It is okay to be hard, but don't take the fun out of it. I beat Metal boy, and I am now in the city. The lack of saves in this game is the most annoying thing of all.

first nes game i've ever beaten.. well it was the first game i bought w/ the system, i didnt' think it was that hard, but now i'ts known as one of the harder old school games, so go fig..

if i have some freetime lined up, i'd love to pick the game up..

sorry to bring up this semi-old thread but I just got it yesterday and yeah it's freakin hard. I'm not a hardcore gamer and normally in fight games I resort to button mashing but it's obvious that in ninja gaiden you need to know what you're doing. It's sad when you have to read a strategy guide just to get pass the first boss, and use up all your items in the process.

Anyone else think that this guy just plain sucks at video games? He says most people have to resort to button mashing and that he suffers from too many cheap hits. Learn to use the block button buddy... even I know that Something must be wrong when every game review website/magazine is giving this game 4/5 or 5/5 and you're giving it 1/5 stars.

One of the hardest games I have played

I remember you had unlimited continues but you couldn't save your game. I tried to leave my NES on so I didn't have to restart from the beginning but it eventually got turned off and I didn't have the patience to work back to whatever level I was at. It was a rental anyway.
