Nine years ago I got a $250 speeding ticket...

I don't think any of those exist.

It's a complete rural uneventful nobody town. There isn't even a 'hippie pub' in a 'downtown'. It's stricken with poverty.

Looks like a nice little town, go for coffee in the morning, go out into the hills or desert during the day, in the evening go for some beers and dinner, then retreat to relax at a B&B with the woman ....

Guy from New Jersey makes fun of some place that isn't in New Jersey? Get some self awareness man.
I only came to NJ few years ago. And I traveled a lot to give out such perpsective.

It's hip to make fun of NJ, are you seriously comparing it to a total poverty stricken southern tip AZ next to Mexico? They don't even have a single crappy All-Asia-in-one Asian restaurant.

Poverty is picturesque.

Bisbee has China Land and Thuy's Noodle Shop. :colbert:

I haven't tried either one as, in my experience, Asian food in Arizona tends toward the god-awful.

You are grossly uninformed. It has all that and then some more. You blind or just lazy?

Meh, I won't argue on what's subjectively a fun tourist-worthy town or not. To each to their own.

That tripadvisor is stretching it. Again, neither you have visited. I have. It's a bumfack town. Sure it has some local-level attractions but none of them are anything special that YOUR neck of the woods small town doesn't have.

Seriously guys. Ugh.

I'm not gloating when I say I went on a 63-day 12,500 mile cross country trip in USA. Bisbee was pretty uneventful. That's my honest assessment after visiting hundreds of towns & cities. If you want a real attraction nobody town, go to Tombstone, AZ. Bisbee is on the way there and how I came across it.

Tombstone actually has unique attractions in the equally middle of nowhere:

- It has the old west partially-faux town, just like in a western movie.
- OK Coral is here (famous in the old movies)
- They got the famous tombstones
- They have shootout performances

Pictures I took in both Tombstone:

You assume we've never visited?

I've been there many, many times; often taking visiting friends and family there.

Without exception, they found it to be architecturally gorgeous, historically fascinating and a blast to visit.

Sorry your moving violation ruined it for you.

Fine, I'll shut up. Perhaps if I'm ever in that area again in my life (too remote, doubt it), I'll give it a try again.

When I think of tourist traps, I think of Bubba Gumps & tons of tourists.

Tombstone can't be a tourist trap when like 28 people visit them every year. (half joking)

I do give them credit for getting rid of the tacky plywood on the wooden sidewalks, and closing some of the streets to motor vehicles.

Wyatt Earp no longer wearing Nikes (oh wait that was in National Lampoon's Vacation)

Until fairly recently Allen Street (the main drag) was asphalt; they covered it in dirt in 2006. Controversy ensued.

It's getting better...slowly.

You forgot, "enjoys the bud."

The movie was "Nothing But Trouble" starring Chevy Chase, who ran a stop sign and ended up in an endless court system with Dan Akroyd as the judge (pictured). OP never paid for his ticket = OP is Chevy Chase. Picture of judge = Dan Aykroyd = the picture was meant to trigger memories of the movie because the judge was the most memorable part of the film.
I haven't seen that movie since like the early 90's!

Yeah, it's one of those oddball movies that everyone saw once that one time and never thought about again, hahaha.
