Question... I know how to convert from FLAC->MP3 via WAV but is there a way to maintain the ID3 tags along the way?

If you already have a FLAC plug-in for Winamp, you might try using the Winamp output setting that renders to mp3 instead of playing the files. I don't know for sure, but I'm going to give it another couple days and then grab the files myself.

Bought the flac version and just downloaded all 600+mb in about 5 minutes--10 minutes tops.

Well, I gave it a listen, definitely not what I expected, but good nonetheless.

I don't think Trent sings in more than just a couple of the songs, and its really just background singing.

I'm not sure if there's an easier way to do it, but you could just an app that connects to the musicbrainz tagging server and finds the correct tags for you. Picard is one of those.

So there's not really much vocal, and just music?

Yeah, it's just an instrumental project. Good for mood music though.

I'm not a huge fan of instrumental projects myself, but I figured that it was worth buying to support the distribution method.

I consider the $5 spent to be akin to "buying a beer" for Trent.

Cheers.

There are some really killer tracks in this collection, though a lot of them seem to be throwaway B sides from the last album.

Worth my money anyways, still better than 90% of the stuff that gets produced, with or without lyrics.

I agree 100% with you. I don't really dig the whole instrumental album thing but dammnit how could I not drop $5 to support a great big "F U RIAA"

This is a great instrumental collection, I'm not usually the NiN's type, but I went ahead and threw down the $5 for it because, well, it's $5.

Been listening to it at work, and it's very nice, well worth the price of admission.
