Heresy
March of the Pigs
Metal
Reptile
The Becoming
Survivalism
Mr. Self Destruct
The Fragile

oh nice. We were in the lawn, but on the other side. NIN was pretty good, but too bad they opened, im sure trent didn't want to upstage the headliner- but it still happened. Janes was so unimpressive- we left at the end of their set and didn't stay for the encore.

Wow, nice pics.
Thanks! I took a lot of crap ones. The fog and lights made it difficult.

I didn't stick around for Jane's Addiction, I'm not a fan and had a 3 hour drive home. It seemed like half the crowd left after NIN as well.

Shoreline kicked ass... had a great time. Wish I'd gotten seats though, especially when some of the kiddies started a mosh pit on the lawn in the spot with the best view.

Met my first real life OT'er... thanks for the session Ns1!

Afterwards hit Toronado in SF... had Pliny the Elder on tap. It was quite heavenly.

debating on going tomorrow night... seen them 4 times already, not 100% thrilled to deal with the crowd and the same songs

If you haven't seen them this tour you will probably hear 5-7 songs that they've never played live or have not played live recently

"I'm Afraid of Americans" live = fucking sickness

that bassline rips me apart everytime.

I could've lived w/o gave up, wish, HLAH, THTF, and hurt though

I'd easily trade those + my right arm for wretched or BCD. sigh :(

This was the best setlist out of the shows I went to; bolded my favorites :)

Home
Somewhat Damaged
Sin

March of the Pigs
Piggy
The Beginning of the End
Discipline
I'm Afraid of Americans
Burn

I Do Not Want This
Gave Up
La Mer
Non-Entity
The Downward Spiral
Wish
The Good Soldier
Suck

The Hand That Feeds
Head Like a Hole
Hurt

I've seen them do IAOA and all the songs you bolded except TBOTE.

Home is one of my favorites by far, as is non-entity.

I haven't seen any of the slip live but I feel like I'm not missing out TOO much on that.

The only song they've been playing off that record IIRC is echoplex and discipline

I'd trade both for anything off fragile or TDS

Only other songs, then, that you might be missing out are the fragile, TWOIT, reptile, mr self destruct..

I guess it just depends on how many tours you've seen =P

I've been to 4 shows, one in the 90s, forget the tour, Fragility, and two during With Teeth. I've seen basically every song in his catalog live I would imagine aside from a few random tracks. Reptile fucking rocks live. Lame about Slip, that cements my decision not to go coupled with the fact that the light show isn't as extensive as LITS

meh, it's a different kind of show than LITS. It's back to his roots rock music vs extravagent stage show production (that will forever be legend BTW)

I'd still go since it's going to be his last tour, ever =P

Not to mention you don't have to pay the inflated JA prices (although I thought they killed it)

None because there are no shows near where I live. :(

In your parents basement?

The closest one was like in George, WA (Where the fuck?) That was about three or four days ago... I didn't even think that he/they were touring. Anyway... It don't matter.

I don't live in a basement btw. I am not basement dad's playtoy.

Yeah I've seen his roots rock show though.. I'm glad JA isn't there, I get a lot of flack for saying it but I honestly cannot figure out why they're famous at all. I'd rather remember NIN as I've seen them and not be disappoitned by his 'last tour' (he'll definitely be back)

No, I dont' think so, at least not like he was. It's gonna be like robert plant leaving LZ.

He's 44 now, assuming he takes a break until he's 49, he's gonna start doing music that isn't going to be like his roots at all. I just can't see him doing say, gave up/wish live when he's 52 lol

My money's on him enjoying life (aka not dealing with retarded douchebag fans) and producing everybody's shit

but yeah, i know what you mean.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Has anyone ever listened to that Saul Williams album he produced?
