Not a bad price for a great camera. I have the 2 megapixel version of this. I think ill fleabay it and get this. Most places charge 330-350 for this.

ahhhhhhhhhhh, i just bought one from best buy from $349+tax. but then again i have 24 months to pay it off. however, $289 is a very good price

I think it's $279 at Microcenter...since they're having a 20% of all digital cameras, and this one is regularly $349 there.

I bought one from bestbuy.com the other day for $349.99 + tax, but if you order any camera over $279.99 online(even with in-store pickup), you can send in for a $50.00 Best Buy Card. I almost had a price match with BJ's to them for $319.99 but I would have blown the $50.00 card because of the way they void out your sale and repurchase it at the store.

i returned this camera-- interior pics were poor. maybe others are having better luck...

I noticed on mine that inside pics werent that great if their wasnt enough light. Outdoor pics are great. Im thinking one of the many settings on the camera would make for better indoor pictures.

This is a pretty common problem with most sub-prosumer level digital cameras. The problem is that there is insufficient light to allow the ccd sensor to focus correctly, it's essentially looking for edges and can't quite make them out. Some of the better cameras come with an AF assist lamp which is nothing more than a small light. Some people have suggested using a small, micro flashlight attached to the side of the camera to help with low level focusing. I personally have a Kodak DC4800 3MP camera and the term "suck" doesn't even begin to describe it's indoor focusing capability (or lack there of).
