i used to like nikes for cross training because i have a huge arch and they seem to give good support.

that said, i have been a reebok dmx fangirl for the past few years and i am not turning back now.

i would have to say addidas. much more comfortable and lighter then nike. i used to just buy all nike a few years ago and have since switched when i found addidas to be much better on my feet.

But they're ugly.

I have the white w/blue stripes Climacools, and they look like normal running shoes. If you have wide feet, they won't work for you, but I've loved having these, once they fit right. I had to use Asics, until I lost the extra padding. 🙂

I've never used Adidas, but my girlfriend has a pair of Bostons that she loves, and I see a lot of Adidas on the cross country team. Then again, my Nike spikes are wonderful, and the Pegasus is a very popular shoe. But, not having worn both brands, I cannot draw a conclusion. I prefer New Balance to both.
