Nike versus Adidas - Who makes the better running shoe?

Depends on your feet. I have wide feet (EEE), and Adidas shoes are definitely built wider than Nikes, so I prefer Adidas.

Completely depends on your foot, what type of running you do, personal preference. There is no superior brand.

I like Adidas better. I'm also a bit biased against Nike. I think they are more fashion than function.

I have this pair of adidas supernova trail shoes and they let my ankles roll out really easily...I tore my left ankle pretty bad wearing them. I still wear them, though

I abuse my sneakers, and Adidas is the only brand that will last me more than 9months, reebok is the worst, they don't last more than 6 months.

for running shoes, I like New Balance.. but Asics are also good.

I have to say, I've liked Nike's my whole life. I don't use them just to run, they are also to live in, so how they look does matter. I haven't tried any other brand in a while but I have liked Nike.
