Just an update...It's been about a month now with ~30 miles being put on them a week with no issues. Still very happy with these shoes.

Just wanted to update my thread for anyone who might care.

I still really like these shoes. Unfortunately as I started upping my mileage in coordination with marathons this fall, my legs started feeling "old" on a regular basis. My knees started hurting and I had a hard time completing some of my miles. At first I thought it might be me just getting old...but then I through on an older pair of shoes and ran a 12 miler and my legs felt fine. Went back to the 3.0's...same pain in the back of my knees. I picked up a pair of Asics Blur33's and they have cured any issues I had with my legs as I was adding up miles.

I still feel there is a lot of merit in training with minimalist shoes...but I just can't seem to really add on the miles without it causing some injury.

I really do like these new Blur33's. I have never liked Asics in the past...but these are working really well for me. I must have tried on about 10+ shoes at the running store...and as soon as I put these on...I could feel they were right. A quick run confirmed.
