*Founder Nigo says Jap youth are too complacent with life and not trying hard to succeed, much like bathing in lukewarm water - (It's ironic how the same ppl are buying his gear)
*Nigo has the 5th largest Planet of the Apes collection
He also has the 3rd largest Star Wars collection

Now JayZ, Lil Wayne,Lil Jon, etc are popularizing it here in the states.
BAPE kicks are known to fetch $300+, BAPE tshirts/hats $100+, BAPE hoodies $500+

Yup, you said it in one word: gimmick. Luckily I don't need clothes of the highest level of asshattery to get a woman.
