Surprised Lonyo hasn't posted here yet, he's a big fan.

I like them myself, but they get a lot of hate around here.

Nightwish isn't even one of my favorite bands at all, but I like them better than Tool any day.

I didn't mean here as in ATOT, actually ATOT seems to really like Nightwish. I meant most of my friends don't like them.

They're better than most of the popular bands in the US. They're good car music.

I'm going to see them at Slim's in SF in November.

Also, when I run half marathons I have at least two or three Nightwish songs in my playlist.

imo, no...Within Temptation has a few songs where there's a male death metal vocalist and that death metal vocals crap ruins any song its in. i can be rocking to a song for a few minutes but the second i hear death metal vocals, i stop it and get rid of it.

There is none of that on the new album that just came out, it is awsome. I cant wait to see them in concert in 3 weeks.

rawr? lol right man. I'd rather listen to Darkest Hour then a nu-metal opera sounding style band fronted by a horrible sounding woman.

I'd much rather listen to the voice of Nightwish's lead singer than the incoherent oral grumblings of Darkest Hour's frontman... *rimshot*

Just kidding man, no hate for Darkest Hour, hell I've never even heard of them, but I'm just illustrating how it can go either way.
