Nightmare with Windows XP install

My new computer is giving me hell trying to install WinXP Professional. I have 2 60GB drives hooked up to a Promist Fasttrak TX2 in a RAID 0 array. Then I go to install Windows XP. I pop in the CD and it goes into setup. I install the drivers like asked (and says in the RAID card manual), then I partition and format the drives with NTFS quick. Then it reboots. Usually the first time it says no hard disks were found. Then I reboot and it installs the whole way. Now I got into Winodws install, and I get about up to the last 13 min of install (after some weird erros like "can't install MEDIA". Then it reboots and wants to install all the way back at the beginning. I am wholly confused at what the hell is going on. I'm seriously frusterated and don't know what to do. I've contacted Promise twice, and used drives then send me. But to no avail. Any ideas guys??! 😕

I've only seen this error occur when you try and skip the "Hit F6 to install third party device drivers" step during the first few seconds of installation.

Hard to tell from what you have written if you are installing the most recent drivers manually at installation startup or not. Sorry if I missread.
