Night terrors suck

I don't recall having anything like this happen in years.

I just suddenly awoke and the fear was paralyzing. It lasted what seemed like a few minutes.

It's not as if it was a nightmare, because I don't recall that I was dreaming anything at all when waking up.

Anyone have this happen?

Yeah, wierd isn't it? You don't remember being afraid, only the fear itself. I rarely get them but they freak the sh!t out of me every time.

yup. couple times so far

i don't know exactly why im paralyzed, either im so scared shytless that i freeze, or i think that if i move something bad will happen to me.

dayum...I'm glad I've never had these problems...sounds awful. I guess that if nothing else, I'm blessed with good sleep...I usually sleep easily, and silently. Granted, I sleep way too much at times too...I could honestly feel good about staying in bed all day. 🙂

I woke up one morning feeling completely depressed with every bit of self-confidence completely shattered. It took a lot of effort to get myself out of bed to go to class. After about 30 minutes, I felt fine, but I had no idea what made me feel so horrible. It was pretty weird.

Perhaps you need to kick out a bad spirit? Related but probably not the same was when my friend woke up and she could not move--something was holding her down and strangling her. Nobody else in the room but her. The bed was left in the house by the previous residents.

I've had something close...Maybe the same thing. Freaked me out, I literally cant remember EVER being so scared in my entire life. I was literally paralyzed with fear. Sucks.
