Oh man, I missed my 11111 post.

So what do I have to look forward to now in my AT career?

So so, is the component vs s-video for a computer connection or DVD player connection?

computer.

You said it's just a regular tv right? It's probably not worth it.

I noticed color got very slightly better going to component but sharpness etc didn't seem to change. I only tested with a DVD though, not a computer input as I didn't get the component adapter until I got my projector.

If you missed it, I said more about this above.

Ah, thanks for pointing out the above post...it got lost in the suffle

I guess I'll stick with svideo then. <shrug>

So anywho, what have I been up to.

I built an htpc only to find out Windows MCE 2005 supports about zero of my components.

What has everyone else been doing?

Yeah, that sounds about right.

At 50ppd since mid Feb though, that would put me at around 3000

I was quite skilled, I guess :p

Yeah, NC may have been full of neffing Jedi, but you're Anakin freakin' skywalker.

You can try it, no harm in that except I doubt it would be worth it.

What adapter do you need?

the one to get component out from a 9600...IIRC, it was DVI->Component, but it might have been VGA->component

Oh right. I forgot what card you said you had.

I think the 8500 uses the VGA to component and the 9x00 series uses the DVI adapter.

Hey, do you want mine? I guess I don't really have a use for it anymore now that I have a 6600gt.
