Oh, any by the way... I've pretty much decided that shopping for speakers on the internet is like shopping for tvs on the radio.

I really need to get out and listen to some stuff to see what I like. The problem is that I have no fricking clue on what to listen for. I've gotten very used to the sound from my Fluance system. I know it's not very good and I want something nicer, but I'm afraid I'm going to go into some shop and just have a vacant stare on my face listening to some stuff that isn't total crap.
In addition, I'm really only looking at one B&M speaker company: B&W. I think the closest to something helpful I'm going to find is a comparison between Paradigm Studio 40s ($1200/pair that have been said to sound similar to Ascend 340s) vs B&W 602s ($600/pair).

In conclusion, Libya is a land of contrast.
