i bought it in Nov/Dec with the amex coupons...

about 450 + tax, prices are dropping like crazy


maybe its time for me to upgrade to 2405 but 9xx for it :)

Honestly not that great...it's really the only flaw with the monitor IMO.

Another flaw is not support 1920x1600, 1680x1050 is too large for my taste

Well thats good that its widescreen, so you don't have the black bars which would be greyish when watching a movie. Even my Samsung 173p does that a little and its a PVA panel. Might've went for that Dell had it been the price it is now when I bought this one. I don't know though.

i am going to bed, have to wake up early tomorrow morning for some early shopping spree at staples with the 19th anniversary sale....

they have something that i want :)

meh, 1680x1050 works just fine for me on a screen of this size (although higher would be nicer, yes)

I really want a 2405FPW, but that's some serious $$$$$.....

Edit: You meant to say 1920x1200 and not 1600, right? ;)

Meh. My 17" is 1280x1024 -- as long as it's not more than 25% smaller than that It won't bother me. Even then, I'd be fine.

Well...it is a widescreen, yes, but it's a 16:10 aspect ratio, and most movies are still wider than that.
