How would they go about scamming? By the way policy at work is to delete such request that come from Nigeria.

They would reply with further problems or "instructions" after they confirm they have a person stupid enough to reply.

they give you a stolen CC for the order, it goes thru, you send product.

haahahahahaha
that's almost as amusing as how "ifromchina" types ....

we got a letter from Spain claiming that we had won a $600,000 lottery. we called the number and there was an actual guy at the office. he asked for ids, and i gave to him

the lottery winning ticket even had Spain's prime minister's signature on it, lol

i should have thought that how could i win a lottery that i never even played

i searched the supposed company online and it appeared among the names of companies that scam. hehe, i've learned my lesson

i could have gotten into a lot of trouble

the guy was asking for $1, 200 so he could transfer the funds to the bank account. i was about to send it, but we had the though of researching first

Personal robberies often happen in a similar bait-n-switch manner.
"Would you help me jumpstart my car? It is over in the next parking lot, I will happily pay you. ... My pregnant wife is in that restaurant and I can get the money from her ... Do you have change for a $100 bill? ... "

I got scammed like that once at the airport for 5 bucks...
This guy approched me in the parking lot asking for a few bucks. He said he had left his truck in the overnight parking and someone slashed his tires and he didnt have enough for parking and towing. I was a nice guy and game him 5 bucks and he promise to pay me back and took my address....
To date nothing.
