Anyone getting these scams with the sender using your last name within the email?

I just looked at one and the "deceased" person had my last name which is not an ordinary one.

Only ones I use to get were the "so-and-so would like to transfer funds to your account after which you will keep x%" or whatever. Sad that people are gullible enough to fall for it.

These guys send out these scams on a mass scale. It's most likely just a strange coincidence. I wouldn't worry about it.

I figure but my last name is Japanese and not that common. I suppose they are getting more advanced and using word macros to put the email name in text.

Maybe I'll get one saying my long lost uncle Tom Doggiedog has died and left me a fortune.
