As an aside, when I was doing some reading on birth defects and peculiarities, the information said that 1 in 1000 births had sex or gender anomalies. That's a lot. It's just not talked about publicly.

Sure it happens, but do you want to see it in a fantasy game. 100% of people shit, but I don't want that to be the focus of a game.

He was still a guy though. This time they are out right saying that he/she is a hermaphrodite, I just don't see why is it necessary to tell us that when I doubt it will advance the story line. If it was just a girly looking guy it would of be a different story as they have done it before a bunch of times...

We're all too jaded to care anymore, it's almost the norm now; especially with Square-Enix.

As another poster mentioned on another gaming forum, what would be SHOCK and AWE would be a cast of characters that weren't androgynous without psychological problems.
