I'm a UA grad, love college football, and prior to this year I went to just about all the Alabama home games.

In the true tradition of the Bear, throw enough money at em and they're bound to say yes. Saban will be gone in 4 years just like all his other jobs.

You guys(UA alums & boosters) will run him off in 4-5 years. Alabama's problems are deeper than just a head coach. I hope he does well, I'm tired of beating an Alabama team that would have problems against Hoover High. A stronger Alabama program = stronger overall SEC, I just don't think Saban is the answer.

Professor Sharpe has been my favorite teacher throughout all my years of school. He just rocked so much more than any other professor that I've ever had.

Tell DHale that Michael Chang said Hi and get ready to work your butt of.

That program will bust your butt, but the atmosphere is pretty cool. Parties at DHale's house are fun.

One thing is to get to know your peers really well, they will end up grading your projects. Get to know the professors as well, they can help you out if you ever get in a bind.

If you need help, I was really into the program (working for them) and I know a lot of the backend stuff that can help you out.

email me if you need anything

Roll Tide!

If he underperforms and starts pulling off 6-6 to 8-4 season you can probably bet on that.

Before you start throwing stones though, remember that Auburn was ready to run off Tubby. It was only the complete ineptness of Auburn's President, AD, and a booster trying to hire Petrino in the dead of night that allowed Tubby to keep his job.

Check his profile, he lives in Bham so he probably knew Hoover before the TV show. You've already proved you don't know college fball and don't care about bammer fball unless they win.

You will definitely be challenged....but, for me at least, it wasn't the sucky kind of challenge. I truly enjoyed his classes and learned alot.

Definitely get involved like xchangx mentioned. Join the MIS groups, etc. You'll be much better off for the experience.

Interesting...Huizenga said in his press conference that the reported contract amount isn't as much as has been reported. He reiterated that it wasn't about money.

Oh, I haven't forgotten that. Luckily that episode got some things moving and people left (now if we could get Lowder of the BOT).

One thing I found out was that things are very political. Make friends with peers further along, they can help out with your projects.

When you're in 320 remember to put comments in your code and never send the code to DHale to look at (if he's teaching that class anymore). He will bring it up in class for everyone to see what NOT to do.

Also, I'm not sure if they have Halo tournaments anymore but we used to have them nightly at AIME, plus movies on the big projector was pretty cool. One of my projects was to install the sound system for the projector. Pretty sweet

If Saban's really getting a $40 million deal, expect your ticket prices to go way up.
