No Burnproof. I bought one last month in Bestbuy for $149.99. But I returned it since no burnproof. Last month, there is no rebate.

It is supported very will by cloneCD. In fact, a couple of sites rated it one of the best CDRW's to use with CloneCD.

This is a nice deal, but how's this drive compare w/plextor and it's "cloneCD" stuff...and how's this Sony drive for reading/writing Sub-Codes? I know plex can do it...how about this Sony? Bummer it doesnt have a larger buffer and burnproof though

This Drive is actually pretty nice it is pretty hard to burn a coaster and the buffer isn't small its 4megs, only downside is the 8x rw instead of 10x and of course no burnproof but for those of you upgrading from an old burner that takes long to burn and burns lots of coasters this is good drive
