Don't know anything about your climate, but here I liek going with Crape Myrtle, Red Tips, Azaelas, and Hydrangeas.


IIRC, I'm in Zone 8......

You need to let others know which "zone" you are in. Azaelas will exceed 5 feet if they do not get planted too far south.
