Nice, relaxing PC games?

Try the Sam and Max series. Quite funny, a few puzzles, not very difficult. I think they are available on steam or the Telltale games website. BTW, sure wish they would make season 3.

Spore?

No offense intended, but I hated this game. Initial levels were easy and kind of fun, but the space phase was the most frustrating game I have ever played. I could not go 5 minutes without getting attacked by pirates and having to return to my home base. Maybe I just did not get the hang of making alliances or something. Supposedly I think some later patches made the game better, but I have not tried it lately.

I have to agree that many of these recommendations don't seem very relaxing other than maybe Flight Sim, Flower and Flow.

I recommend AudioSurf. Works off your current MP3 library, so the speed and pace depends on the type of song you pick.

I found Braid to be relaxing and it gave a nice feeling of accomplishment once I figured out the harder puzzles. That's why I recommended it. Relaxing to one person doesn't always mean the same to other people, that's why people recommend different games and the OP can choose (easiest would be by playing some demos I guess or looking at the trailers at least).

Incidentally, Osmos will be available through STEAM on August 18. Also, they have a demo and a new HD trailer right now.

tried the demo and wow does that game suck. music is cool though. I like that kind of stuff, but can't make up for shitty gameplay.

I second Braid, definitely, also I like Peggle.

I third Braid

Also, if you haven't, check out Beyond Good & Evil. It was released 6 years ago but never really got the attention it deserved.

I second Beyond Good and Evil. Definitely a good game to play.
